Remembering old days of cricket

Here I am going to take you to event in West Indies when West Indies bowler were called killers. This was Test series between India and West Indies.Nari Contractor was batting and Charlie Griffith was bowling, those days Charlie Griffith was known for doing fast bouncers goaling the head of the batsman's.The ball that hit Nari was just short of good length, and Contractor tried to turn away as the ball rose sharply.... well, it was a very bad injury, but it ended well, relatively and Contractor got away without any permanent harm, but for a steel plate inserted in his head.At that deadly moment West Indies Captain Frank Worrell donated blood to Nari Contractor(as his blood group was matching with Nari C.).That day is now remembered as 'Sir Frank Worrell Day' in India.Nari Contractor never played Test cricket again.
